Back then, I was completely obsessed with their Bangtan Bombs videos, then I fell in love with their music, and the connection just grew from there. Over these 10 years, I’ve felt like I’ve grown alongside them, and now, as an artist, they’re an important part of my journey. I hope that someday my art can reach them—it would feel like a circle that is finally complete 💜

Rol Co-head and artI only started listening to BTS early last year. A friend of mine told me a lot about Suga, and thought that I’d like to hear about RM. Little to no surprise, I was marveled by the two of them as both humans and artist. So it was a small step from there, to feel an immense curiosity for their music as a whole group. I was sleep deprived and with little to no motivation to keep going in certain areas of my life. So this one morning, I was swimming in overdue schoolwork, I was seriously at my limit. I decided to put on some music, because my brain was screaming for a distraction. And that point, Butter was the only song I had ever listened, so I really didn’t know what to expect (I only knew about RM and Suga’s songs through their lyrics). I chose Love Yourself 結 ‘Answer’ because I thought that the cover was really beautiful. And from that album I chose “Dimple”, only because I really like that word. And of course, I was totally entranced from the second it started playing. It seriously felt as if something, just clicked. That was the first and only song I heard from them, for about a little less than a month. But from there, it just spiraled. It’s been less than a year, but only a few artist have impacted me this much. That’s why I’m so excited for this project; every single member has given me valuable pieces that have shaped and reshaped my perspective regarding art, that I just want to put what I’ve learned, into practice as soon as possible, maybe as an act of giving back.
I feel so lucky that I got to listen to them in this point of time, but at the same time; I would’ve loved to grow up with them. Because I just know, they would’ve definitely been a light of guidance whenever I needed them, just as much as I need them now <33

GENERAL GUIDELINES- All applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing your overall skills (you can read about the specifics regarding the position your applying to, below)
- You can present your portfolio through any kind of website (Instagram, Pixiv, Twitter,) or a Google Drive link; just please make sure we have access to it and/or its viewable.
- All applicants must be over 18 years old before the Contributor Applications close.
- NSFW content in portfolios are allowed, but only if they are tagged properly; otherwise, the application will be eliminated.
- All AI content is be prohibited, be it on writing or through visual works.
-You don’t need to have any previous experience, everyone can apply.
-You can apply as both a visual artist and a writer, just keep in mind that you’ll only be able to make up to two pieces in total.
- If you apply to any visual art category, you must fill the Artist Application.
- If you apply to the writers category, you must fill the Writers Application.
-The zine is not yet decided as free, for-charity or for-profit, that will be announced once the results of the interest check are here.
-Nudity is allowed as long as it doesn’t imply anything sexual.VISUAL ARTISTS GUIDELINES-General guidelines must be followed.
-We ask for a minimum of 5 finished pieces, they can either be collage, cyanotype, photograph, makeup, traditional or digital illustration, comic, etc. But at least three out of the five samples (with the exception of comic) must to be in the same field as what you want to do if selected. For example, your portfolio must have at least three photographs if you’d like to make a photographs for the zine, etc.
-In case of illustration, at least one of them must be full body and have background. But all of them should showcase your understanding in anatomy, color theory and composition.
- In case of comic, only two pieces must be comic.
-BTS themed samples are not a must, but are highly encouraged.
- NSFW samples are allowed but should to be tagged properly.WRITERS APPLICATION- General guidelines must be followed.
- We ask for a minimum of three samples. These samples can be a Google Doc, Wattpad Ao3 link, etc. These can be private or published, just be sure we can view them.
-The samples can either be any kind of poem (such as free verse, elegy, ode, calligram, eclogue, epigram, etc.) or prose.
-For prose, can submit a chapter or an excerpt, but at least one of the samples should be a completed piece.
- Prose samples should be between 1,000 words and 5,000.
-For poetry, from 4 verses up to 25 verses (with the exception of calligrams)
- At least one of the samples must about BTS or one of the members of BTS
